Each month, ReadersRoom.com will feature a conversation - along the lines of the "Coffee With Kate" section - with a reader to be selected from our newsletter subscribers. The purpose of this section of the site will be to afford readers the opportunity to make their voices heard about the genre(s) they love, reinforcing the "interactive" nature of Readersroom.com. Readers will be encouraged to recommend authors or titles, talk about what directions they would like to see the genre(s) move in and give their opinions and suggestions on directions they would like to see ReadersRoom.com pursue.
*Newsletter
Each month, ReadersRoom.com will produce a newsletter to be emailed to subscribers. The purpose of this newsletter will be to preview the current month's contents and features added to the site that month, as well as to inform readers of upcoming events with an eye towards encouraging readers to visit the site to get more information. The newsletter will be distributed free of charge, on a subscription basis.
*Contests and Polls
From time to time, ReadersRoom.com will run contests for our readers, offering prizes. Additionally, ReadersRoom.com will offer a monthly poll of its readers, getting their opinions on issues directly related to the Mystery, Thriller and Suspense fiction genres. Results of each poll will be posted to the site the month after the poll is closed.
