FAQ

Question: How do I submit my book for review?

Answer: The Readers Room is an interactive site focused on getting readers and writers together. Although we do run some book reviews, they are by invitation only. This is NOT a book review site. Therefore, we only accept books for review by publishers.

Question: Does this mean that my small E/POD publisher is being ignored yet again?

Answer: No. In recognition of the excellent books being published by small POD/e-publishers and medium size publishers, we will be reviewing one book a month from a selected small publisher and a selected midsize publisher. We invite the publishers to submit the book of their choice to be reviewed. If you would like your publisher to be included, please feel free to drop us a line at: ReadersRoom2@aol.com

Question: But I am self-published--so I AM my publisher. What do I do?

Answer: The Readers Room is NOT a book review Web site. That is not now, nor has it ever been our purpose. We run very few book reviews, and those we do run are by invitation only. However, don't despair. We realize that there are some excellent books that are self published, and are currently putting together a program where we will pick the best of the best self-published novels and feature them, too. So keep checking back.

Question: WHO is The Readers Room?

Answer: ReadersRoom.com is a partnership of Katherine Sutcliffe, Rob Holden, and Natalie R. Collins. Who are we? We are writers and readers with a great love for suspense, mystery, and thrillers.

Question: I have a manuscript that I would love Tess Gerritsen to read. Can you give it to her for me?

Answer: No. Next question.

Question: I have a gift for Katherine Sutcliffe. Can I have her address?

Answer: Creepy! No.

Question: How do I get interviewed in "Coffee with Kate?"

Answer: This is an invitation-only feature of ReadersRoom.com. You can be interviewed if you receive an invitation.

Question: Oh, great. That's really nice. That means you are only interviewing the people who have already made it! What's fair about that?

Answer: This is a Web site that is focused at getting writers together with readers. In order to build readership, we are running interviews with well known authors that people want to read about. That will pull people to the site. Once there, they can visit our other features, such as the book reviews of small and midsize publishers, and find NEW authors that they want to read. We are also hosting Web sites for authors in this genre, and there are many advantages to joining our program. If you are interested in this, please visit our rates page, or send an email to staff@readersroom.com

Question: I'd like to be featured as your Reader of the Month? How do I do that?

Answer: Are you a book fanatic? We'd love to hear about you, and consider you as a possible Reader of the Month. Send us an email telling us why YOU should be a RotM. Please note: This is a Web site focused at the genres of suspense, mystery, and thrillers. Only fans of those genres will be considered.ReadersRoom2@aol.com
